In the summer of 2012, my father, Nahum Shalit, had a stroke. Dad, who was born in 1936, is an Israeli cinema and theater actor. The project is the final product of a coping process in the bounds of a father-daughter relationship, in light of the passage of time, aging and separation. I chose to reflect these through an attempt to re-dub scenes from films he played in, and by exposing our private conversations.
In the project I sought to merge my father's and mine artistic contents world, in order to create a memory in the time span of then and now, and make them shared, mine and his.
