The mushroom is a biologically exceptional creature, separated from the animal and plants kingdom and classified as its own kingdom: the mushroom kingdom. I am fascinated by the formation of the mushroom as a result of the decomposition and demise of other organisms and on their expense. In the research to the project I focused mostly on the survival strategy of mushrooms classified as mold. This strategy, which includes processes of decomposition, parasitism, and domination, inspired the collection's patterns, colors, and textures. The textiles were subjected to actions of unpicking, felting and interweaving of threads and beads.
Materials: cotton, cotton thread, natural raw wool.
