The project is my personal interpretation to natural shapes, using shards, and their sharp edjes.
The exhibition features sculptural elements comprised of an inner wheel-thrown clay element, covered with ceramic fragments in a way that creates rhythm, movement, and color palette that change from element to element.
The dualism between vessel, and object is underscored through the seemingly broken-whole element, created through the ceramic fragments, the scale of the works and their convergence. At the same time, the arrangement of the elements as a whole exposes the possibility that the fragment allows the expansion of the vessel, and perhaps even gives it a life of its own
