"Three things restore a man's good spirits: sounds, sights, and smells." (Berakhot 57b)
In the course of his life, the individual experiences impressions with his senses. These impressions are converted into memories, whether consciously or not. The objects were designed from a personal perspective that touches on my life, memories, childhood and the house I grew up in. The environment and culture I was raised on had a rich visual culture and in this project I wished to connect to a place that was always there, but was not present in my life the way I wished to present it here. I tried to convert the gamut of sensations and sights – sensory and therefore impossible to grasp, yet of tangible presence – to a visual language, objects, visual realms worlds that hold within a complete and narrative world.
